Aquametrics Leak Testing Device (BPS KKA) for Small Wastewater Treatment Plants and Collection Pits
Note: The software for Aquametrics products is currently only available in German. If this is a concern, our technical customer support team is happy to assist you.
Water level testing (water fill test, level measurement) for leak testing of small wastewater treatment systems and collection pits in accordance with:
- DIN 1986-30:2012-02
- DIN EN 12566
- DIN 4261-1
- and others
The probe’s measurement accuracy has been confirmed by the LGA in Würzburg. The included software AquaDP (in German) is available as a single-user version and includes the modules "KKA" and "Wasser" as a subcomponent.
Advantages
- High measurement accuracy even at shallow immersion depths
- Level probe as capacitive transmitter
- High-quality ceramic measuring cell with pressure and temperature compensation
- Probe can be used directly in wastewater
- Probe extension via chain (instead of pipe guidance)
- Probe head can be used separately, without tripod
- Suitable for immersion depths up to 10 m without damage (overload up to 300 mbar)
- Use of up to 4 probes simultaneously (optional)
- Optional probe available with EX protection
- Coarse filter included as plug-on attachment in carrying case
- Durable height adjustment via plastic screw – ideal for construction site use
- Simple USB connection to PC or tablet

Maintenance and Service
Depending on the operating conditions, checking the measurement system is absolutely necessary. The recalibration interval depends on the specific application conditions (e.g., separator inspection).
Recommended recalibration interval: 1 year.
Deposits on the ceramic membrane can lead to signal changes. In such cases, the ceramic membrane can be carefully cleaned of deposits using a commercially available descaler and a brush or soft bristle brush. Afterwards, rinse with cold water.
