Pipe Stopper U with Pipe Diameter 40 - 1600 mm
Standard pipe sealing pad model U for fast and reliable sealing and shut-off of sewers, pipes and drainage inlets. These pipe stoppers are mainly used for repairs, maintenance, accidents and leak tests with water or air according to DIN EN 1610 of newly laid or renovated pipelines.
Pipe stoppers are an ideal aid for water management organizations, rescuers and fire departments, but also in construction and industry. Manufactured from high-quality rubber material with fabric inlay, pipe stoppers type U are weather and temperature resistant in a temperature range from -30 oC to 80 oC and resistant to wear and waste water. The pipe stopper U is available in 12 standard versions with diameters ranging from 40 mm to 1600 mm. These sealing cushions are tested at 1.3 times the operating pressure and can be used at a back pressure of 10 or 5 m water column.
A user manual is included with each pipe sealing pad. Our pipe stoppers & shut-off plugs are made of expandable material and can be filled with liquid or air. (Classification in category A - pipe sealing pillows and renovation packers of the resistance list; see picture)

Note: The test pressure mentioned in some technical documents must not be used in practice. It is a maximum value determined under laboratory conditions. The only value that must be observed in operation is the operating pressure, which must not be exceeded.
