Manhole Covers

Our manhole covers provide reliable protection and safety when working on cable ducts, inspection chambers or street drains – essential during ventilation, inspection, cleaning or flushing operations. Made of galvanized steel, these sturdy walk-on covers are available in various designs, either fully closed or with an opening for the easy passage of cables and hoses. The covers offered here are easy to handle, durable and approved by the German Construction Safety Authority (BG Bau). They prevent accidental access or falls and comply with occupational safety regulations for wastewater systems.

Depending on the model, they are suitable for clear openings from 400 mm to 800 mm and offer practical features such as foldable sections, anti-slip locking devices and integrated safety flags.

Universal Safety Manhole Cover Grating LW 600

Universal safety manhole cover grating LW 600 for securing manhole openings and street drains during ventilation, cleaning and flushing work. For securing against falling in as required by the UVV local drainage regulations. Suitable for round manholes and openings LW 62.5 cm and smaller as well as street drains. The 8 independently downward falling shifting protections (according to UVV specifications) adapt to different sizes of round manholes and street drains. The galvanised manhole cover grating includes 2 hinged rods for the included red and white safety flags. Available in 3 different versions: closed with 120 mm cut-out and displacement guards with 150 mm cut-out and deflection pulley, for easier passage and retraction of cables, hoses, etc. Technical data Outer diameter: approx. 65.5 cm Load capacity: maximum 100 kg (can be walked on, not driven over!)
