These steam pipe test plugs are very strong shut-off plugs that are used to shut off and drain pipes containing steam and in which steam pressure prevails. They are made by vulcanizing SBR+NR rubber and high-strength fabric. The temperature range of the test plug is between -30°C and +70°C.

The large bypass enables quick steam escape from the pipe. It can therefore be used, for example, for testing district heating pipes. The steam pipe test plug also contains a large metal core so that the steam can be drained away quickly. It is available in various designs for pipe diameters from 100 - 600 mm, the working pressure is 2.8 bar.

This test plug can be made with NBR rubber, which is resistant to gas, petroleum and their derivatives, for an additional charge.

Can also be used to shut off sewers, pipelines and drainage inlets. These test pipe stoppers are mainly used for repairs, maintenance, accidents and leak tests with water or air according to DIN EN 1610 of newly laid or renovated pipelines. Ideal aid for water management organizations, rescuers and fire departments, but also in the construction industry and industry.
