Our manhole safety grates provide reliable protection and safety when working on cable ducts, inspection chambers or street drains – essential during ventilation, inspection, cleaning or flushing operations. Made of galvanised steel, these sturdy walk-on covers are available in various designs, either fully closed or with an opening for the easy passage of cables and hoses. The covers offered here are easy to handle, durable and approved by the German Construction Safety Authority (BG Bau). They prevent accidental access or falls and comply with occupational safety regulations for wastewater systems.

Depending on the model, they are suitable for clear openings from 400 mm to 800 mm and offer practical features such as hinged sections, anti-slip locking devices and integrated safety flags.

Universal manhole safety grate LW 600 for securing manhole openings and street drains during ventilation, cleaning and flushing operations. Provides effective protection against falls. Suitable for round manholes and openings with a clear opening of up to 625 mm, as well as for street drains. The eight independently downward-acting locking arms automatically adapt to varying diameters of round manholes and street drains, ensuring a secure and stable fit. The galvanised steel safety grate is supplied complete with two hinged holders for the included orange and white safety flags.
